SUPPORT THE MISSION OF THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF KOFORIDUA

The Church continues to proclaim the Gospel, form future priests, and provide places of worship where communities can encounter Christ. We warmly invite you to become a partner in this mission through your generous support.

Help Build Places of Worship
Many of our growing Catholic communities still worship in temporary structures. Your contribution can help provide them with a permanent place to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and build a vibrant Christian community.
•    150-Capacity Church Building – US$165,000.00
•    250-Capacity Church Building – US$230,000.00

Sponsor the Formation of a Seminarian
The future of the Church depends on the proper formation of young men preparing for the priesthood. The annual cost of training one seminarian is US$1,200.00, covering tuition, medical care, and other essential formation expenses.
The Diocese currently has 53 seminarians in the Major Seminaries. By sponsoring one or more seminarians, you invest in the future of the Church and help ensure that God's people continue to receive pastoral care for generations to come.

Provide Clean Water
Access to clean and safe water transforms lives. A mechanised borehole costs US$6,000.00 and provides a reliable source of potable water for parish communities, schools, and surrounding villages.

Be a Partner in Mission
No gift is too small. Whether you choose to sponsor a seminarian, contribute towards a church building, or support the provision of clean water, your generosity will make a lasting difference in the lives of many.

On July 6, 1992, the Catholic Diocese of Koforidua was created. This was publicly announced by his Holiness Pope John Paul II (now St. John Paul), through the Papal Bull (an official Church document) Quod iusta quidem, on November 21, 1992. It was the tenth in Ghana, carved from the then Diocese of Accra.
