FIRST KOFORIDUA DIOCESAN PRIESTS' ASSOCIATION MEETING IN 2024

The first of the biannual general meeting of the Koforidua Diocesan Priests' Association (KODPA) took effect from 12th–13th June 2024 at the Diocesan Pastoral and Training Centre (DPTC), Koforidua.
The august meeting saw the attendance of about seventy priests, including the Bishop of the Diocese, Most Rev. Joseph Afrifah-Agyekum.

Among the agenda of this convocation included discussions on Mental Health Seminar, 2025 Provincial Congress, Common Liturgical Aberration, and a Stewardship Report (by the 2021-2024 Executives) and Election of New Executives.

The Bishop ceased the occasion to address his co-workers by commending their collaborative efforts in growing the Diocese. He also once again highlighted his pastoral intentions and directives to his priests, encouraging them to be innovative, spiritually focused, and professional.

The erstwhile Executives having served their 3-year term so diligently under the presidency of V. Rev. Fr. Ebenezer Kenneth Abban (PhD) gave a succinct report on their stewardship to members, who, having been impressed by their good leadership, congratulated them.
As the Constitution of the Association demands, elections were held for new executives, and this was led by the returning officer, Rev. Fr. Michael Numekevor Jnr. (Esq).
